• about 2 billion years old (same as shungite)
• a metamorphosed shale rock found and industrially mined in Karelia
• it consists of approx. half of talc (talc, talc, steatite, slip - Mg3Si4O10(OH)2) and half of magnesite (magnesium carbonate - MgCO3)
• hydrophobic, heat resistant, soft
• it gradually radiates accumulated thermal energy
• for the production of stoves, ovens, saunas and dishes, so-called pot stone
• non-toxic and chemically stable
• carrier of male (yang) energy
